This Privacy Policy explains how PT Esquire Business Group, which operates ESKQ Bar ("ESKQ", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal data of guests and visitors of our website and booking service. We process personal data in accordance with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
1. Data we collect
When you book a table, we collect your name, phone number and email address, and any notes you add, such as allergies, dietary requirements or special occasions.
If you book through a third-party platform such as Google, Instagram or TripAdvisor, that platform shares your booking details with us.
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we keep your name, contact details and the content of your message so we can reply.
When you visit our website, we automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type and device information. We use cookies to keep the website working and to understand how it is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features, including booking, may not work correctly.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- manage your reservation and send confirmations, reminders and updates by SMS, email or WhatsApp;
- recognise you on arrival and take your preferences and allergies into account;
- reply to your questions and requests;
- keep the website secure and improve how it works.
We send promotional offers only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who we share data with
Our reservation system is provided by Eat App, which stores and processes booking data on our behalf. Deposits, where required, are processed by secure third-party payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Our partners may process data outside Indonesia. In such cases we make sure the data is protected to the standard required by Indonesian law.
4. How long we keep data
We keep booking data for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet legal and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email buh@eskqbar.com. We will respond within 3 working days and may ask you to confirm your identity. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot keep an active reservation.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. If a data breach puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
7. Children
Our services are intended for guests aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it takes effect.
